                        Snowbasin Resort:

Forecasts are filled with mostly sunny skies for the foreseeable future and it looks like spring skiing is here to stay for the rest of the season! Save for some clouds here and there on some partly sunny days, make sure you have the SPF in your car if you plan to head up the mountain this week. Today will be a little cooler with temperatures in the mid-20s when the lifts start spinning and climbing to 36° in the afternoon. The cool temps should help our 35 freshly-groomed runs hold through the day and make for some fun conditions. Our end-of-season operating hours continue today, with lifts spinning from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm, so please remember to plan accordingly. We’re still running Littlecat, Needles Gondola, Middle Bowl, John Paul, DeMoisy, and the Wildcat Handle Tow, providing access to most of our terrain! For a look into our operations plans during these last two weeks of the season, check out our operations schedule right here.

                          Snowbird:

Skiing and riding in Lower Gad Valley and on Chickadee is closed for the season. This means, for the remainder of the season, there is no beginner terrain available at Snowbird. Whodunnit is currently the easiest route down the mountain. There is no skiing access below the base of Little Cloud due to construction. You cannot ski down Creek Road to access parking on Wilbere Hill or in the Upper Gad Lot. Advanced and expert skiers only are advised. Learn more about our spring operating plan on our website. Thank you for respecting our terrain closures. See you on the slopes!

                            Solitude Mountain Resort:

Forget those memes about Fool’s Spring, False Spring, and Spring of Deception, it’s totally spring up here — just ask the robins. After receiving 5 inches of snow earlier this week, we are now looking at blue skies and sunshine for the foreseeable future. Temperatures will be in the mid-30s today and will rise over the next few days and through the weekend. Last night we experienced a partial refreeze but nothing that will prevent melty and slushy conditions over much of the mountain today. Most of our terrain gates are currently closed due to warm snow. Buckeye Junior and Powderhorn gates remain open for sightseers and corn seekers. On the front side of the mountain, our grooming crew is laying down corduroy on 30 to 35 trails nightly. Check out our mountain status page to see where the cats have been recently.
