A great ski day in Utah is not all about the light, fluffy, powder, it’s about the party after. What you do for apres-skiing is just as important as what you do on the slopes. Here are some of the local’s favorite spots to grab some grub, a drink, and kick back with friends after a long ski day.

If you are looking for live music and a place to enjoy some local brews, the Peruvian Lodge is your place. Located up at Alta Ski Resort, it is a perfect and easy way to wind down after a long day of skiing in Little Cottonwood Canyon.
2. The Cotton Bottom
Looking for a little more flavor? Head down to the Cotton Bottom and try out one of their famous garlic burgers! The dimly lit dive bar is one of Salt Lake’s charming gems that should not be passed up by visitors. But seriously, get the garlic burger, it’s to die for!
3. Lone Star

If you want to sit back and catch the game with the most hardcore rippers on the mountain, The Tram Club is the apres-ski destination for you. With flat screen TV’s on all of the walls, it is a great place to grab a beer and watch your favorite team score after a long day on the slopes
