After getting slammed in the Cottonwood Canyons this last weekend with snow storms (over 32 inches of fresh snow), we decided to head up to Alta to check out the conditions. Most resorts were unable to open due to the weather, but lucky for us, Alta opened up a couple lifts on Monday, and the rest on Tuesday!
Christmas day is all about being with the people that you love and spending quality time together participating in family traditions. We get that. Christmas brunch is always nice, but we are going to suggest that you do something even better with your family this year.

Last Saturday, lady shredders all over the world gathered together at their local ski resorts to represent the women skiers of the world. Every year the K2 Ski Alliance puts on International Women’s Ski Day so that the world can see just how rad it is to ski like a girl.
Nothing ruins a perfect day of skiing like cold, achy, feet. Every skier has been through this before. It is a beautiful powder day, and you want nothing more than to stay on the mountain all day, but you can’t feel your toes anymore and you are starting to worry if they are actually still there.
