The 2014-2015 ski season has finally arrived and it is a beautiful thing. With recent snowstorms, it is already shaping up to be another great winter here in Utah! The conditions have been even better than expected, and it has made for a stellar opening week.
We all know Utah for its great snow and world-renowned ski resorts. Utah offers some of the best skiing there is. But, what people don’t know is that after a day in the mountains, you can drive 30 minutes to enjoy an evening in the city at one of Salt Lake’s performing arts programs. Whether it is a night listening to Beethoven’s Symphony or the Opera’s performance of Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte, there is plenty of culture to enjoy in Utah.
The ski season has finally arrived here in Utah! Local skiers and boarders called in sick to work, school, and all other appointments they had yesterday to do the responsible thing and ski opening day at Brighton Ski Resort.
With the ski season rapidly approaching, the wait is finally almost over! Ski resorts are starting to build a solid base of snow and it’s looking like it will be another epic winter here in Utah!
As we anxiously await the 2014-2015 ski season, it is hard not to play into all of the predictions of what mother nature will bring this winter. And maybe they are not always entirely accurate, but you better believe that we are checking up on the Farmers Almanac prediction for what this winter will be like in Utah!
