It was just announced that Vail was given the green light to connect Park City Mountain Resort to Canyons Resort, making it the largest ski resort in the United States. The connection of the two resorts will be made with an eight passenger Interconnect Gondola.
The unanimous vote in favor of the gondola and other improvements took place on March 25th at City Hall. Vail plans on spending more than $50 million on the connection and other improvements this next year. These changes will be made in time for the next 2015-2016 ski season.
