Ski ‘N See brings you four stellar reasons to visit (and ski!) Park City and Deer Valley during the 2017 Sundance Film Festival (January 19-29, 2017):
Park City’s $50-million capital improvements have been well under way as they’ve been busy implementing resort renovations, upgrades, and their massive project – combining Park City Mountain Resort with Canyons Resort to create the largest ski area in the United States.
On July 31, 2015, resort leadership officially combined the Park City and Canyons brands into one, under the name Park City, with a new logo combining the Canyons insignia with the Park City color palette, and the tag line “There is only one. Park City.”
It was just announced that Vail was given the green light to connect Park City Mountain Resort to Canyons Resort, making it the largest ski resort in the United States. The connection of the two resorts will be made with an eight passenger Interconnect Gondola.
The Grand Prix Snowboarding and Freestyle Skiing competition went down last weekend here in Park City. Athletes from around the globe gathered to compete in Slopestyle and Halfpipe.
