It’s that time of year again! We are starting to see holiday decorations in the stores, and hear festive music on the radio. It is time has come to start searching for gifts for your loved ones, and with ski season coming up, what better gift to give than new ski or snowboard gear!
The ski season has finally arrived here in Utah! Local skiers and boarders called in sick to work, school, and all other appointments they had yesterday to do the responsible thing and ski opening day at Brighton Ski Resort.
Are your skis or board not riding the way they used to? Do you find yourself trying to catch up with your friends on the slopes regularly because your skis are slowing you down? If so, it might be time for you to bring your skis or snowboard in for a tune-up.

In 1964 Dr. Bob Smith, a skier by choice and orthodontist by profession, realized something that needed some improving, ski goggles. In 1965 Smith Optics was founded. Dr. Bob started making ski goggles on his kitchen table using orthodontic tools, foam, and glue. He started out by trading his goggles for lift tickets to his home resort of Alta, Utah.
