The Covergirl of the 12-13 Season

Utah has always been known as having The Greatest Snow on Earth, it even says so on the Utah state license plates, so it has to be true. Now, three major ski magazines are giving some Utah some well-earned national attention. Skiing, Ski, and Powder magazine took notice of this year’s monster dumps, featuring three different resorts on their January 2013 magazine covers.

Out of 427 ski areas across the Northern U.S., eight of Utah’s 14 resorts are rated in the top 30 this year, including (in order of rankings) Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort, Canyons, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude, and Snowbasin.
