Solitude Mountain Resort:
May has arrived and we're making laps at Solitude! We currently have five lifts spinning, providing access to 39 trails, including 16 groomed runs. Our Main Street terrain park reopens today with new features. The mountain conditions page on our website gives you the complete breakdown on what’s open, what’s groomed, and what’s closed for the season. Temperatures dropped into the upper 20s last night, providing the mountain with a welcome refreeze. Every time temperatures drop below freezing it helps us maintain coverage as we work towards our May 12 closing date! We’re expecting a high of 30 on the upper mountain today with warmer temperatures in the base areas. Snow should be firm to start the day as well as at higher elevations. For softer laps, seek out the sun on lower elevation trails and in wide open areas like Sunshine Bowl and Main Street. Spring conditions exist including thin coverage in some areas.
