It’s that time of year again – our Ski-A-Rama sale is officially kicking off August 24th at 2pm at our newly remodeled Sandy store: 772 East 9400 South. Our team has been working hard to bring you the best deals in town on ski and snowboard gear. Before you attend the sale, check out our quick guide on how to prep for the Ski-A-Rama!
Check for Damage
Before attending the sale, take a look at all of your gear, and take note of any damaged items. Your jacket missing a zipper? Holes in your base layers? Those might be some items you look for at the sale. Some recognizable brands you’ll find at the sale include The North Face, Spyder, 686, Burton, and Obermeyer.
Make Sure Your Gear Fits
Especially for those with kiddos, make sure that last season’s gear still fits properly. Kids grow so fast, and it’s better to get properly fitting gear now rather than finding out on the mountain. Take note of what outerwear is needed replacing, so when you arrive at the sale, you know what you’re looking for.
Thoroughly Check Safety Gear
This one is important. Take a look at your helmet for any dents or damage. Helmets can lose their integrity at any dent or hit, even if it was damaged through transportation. Also, if you’ve had your helmet for five years or longer, look into replacing it for this season. We will have new helmets and goggles from some popular brands like Smith, Giro, and Oakley at Ski-A-Rama.
Time to Upgrade Your Setup
Wanting to upgrade your setup for this new season? We recommend taking a look at our demo options! All of our demo skis and snowboards were a part of our rental fleet last season. Prior to the Ski-A-Rama sale, we finely inspect and tune each one so they’re ready to go this upcoming season. Get a quality set of skis or a snowboard at a fraction of the price!
