When your shoes look like mine did this early in the year, you know its going to be a good ski season.
The Wasatch Mountains received their first snowfall right before sunset on September 25, 2013. A whopping 3 inches in some places.
Did the snow come too early this year? No Way! For Skiers the first snowfall of the year is a significant event. Seeing the snow for first time heightens the senses, it gets our hearts beating a little faster, we are a little more sensitive to the cold, and our minds are thinking about one thing – that powder line that we have been itching to ride for the past 6 months. Snow can never come too early.
Enjoy the some pictures of this years first snowfall.
