Snowbasin Resort:
After a stunning bluebird weekend, we are looking at another few days of sunshine and warm temperatures. Today will be another sunny day with clear skies and a high of 45°. Spring skiing is in full effect, and we aren’t upset about it - there’s nothing like lapping your favorite runs in a t-shirt as the sun softens the snow in the afternoon! While we’re hoping for more snow before the end of the season, we’re having fun now that the winds have calmed down again. Please note that Strawberry Gondola will close early today, Monday, March 18th, at 3:00 pm for scheduled maintenance. Head over to the Strawberry side and get your runs in early if you plan to spend some time there today!

Snowbird:
Good morning skiers and riders,
This is Matt with your Mountain Report for Monday, March 18, 2024. It's starting to feel like springtime here at The Bird; the sun is out and the vibes are *chef's kiss*. I got out for a few laps in the afternoon yesterday and even after runs had been in the sun all day, I still got some of the best groomer laps of the season. Chips never disappoints.
Today will be another stunner of a day with a high near 47 and a southeast breeze.

Solitude Mountain Resort:
100%! That how much terrain we had open yesterday, meaning that every trail, lift, and gate was open for skiing and riding. We expect to have everything open again today, although some trails may see delayed openings or early closures based on spring conditions. Temperatures were above freezing yesterday and below freezing last night so expect firm and fast snow to start the day. Please control your speed and keep an eye out for fellow skiers and riders who may appear unexpectedly. The mountain will quickly soften up under sunny skies and temperatures climbing above 40 degrees. For the best skiing and riding, start your day on sunny groomed slopes and avoid bumps and ungroomed trails until the snow has softened. Sunshine Bowl, Main Street, and lower Eagle often have great spring conditions mid-morning — give 'em a shot!
